Zack and Karli were married at the beautiful Kiana Lodge in Poulsbo. We had missed the record breaking heat by a weekend, much to our relief. Their wedding was scattered with such beautiful personal touches…a domino themed reception in honor of their grandparents’ favorite game, an inherited topaz ring attached to Karli’s bouquet, wedding photos of their parents at the entry way table, individually different bridesmaid’s bouquets, the guys all wore white Vans (loved it!) and a hilarious rendition of Father Guido Sarducci at the reception by Karli’s father. In full garb with cigar & red wine, Father Guido was ushered in by his own personal pilot & a handful of secret service agents (one whom even asked me to step aside!) He performed a “Make-ah-Sure-ah” ceremony for Zack and Karli to, well, make sure they were married. And to say the least, he was the real deal…everyone was in stitches.
I had such a great time with you, your family, and friends, Zack & Karli…I feel so blessed to have been a part of a wedding I will never forget. Thank you so much, and I wish you the best in your new life and adventures in California!
