Nate & Jen were married at the beautiful Lord Hill Farms in Snohomish, Washington.  As a wedding photographer, you always arrive at a wedding prepared for absolutely anything to happen…someone running late, plans falling through…  don’t get me wrong, I consider myself an optimist, but it always helps to be calm and collected for whatever comes your way.  But it never did.  The wedding went along without a single hitch (as far as I knew!)  The girls arrived dressed and beautiful…and on time…but I think what made the day so fun and relaxing was Nate and Jen just being themselves.  So together, so calm, so relaxed, and just excited to be with friends and family.  What touched me the most about these two was their speech during the toasts.  They sincerely thanked every person that came acknowledging friends coming from as far as Florida.  And then they continued to thank each person that helped with the wedding preparations…including the wedding vendors (What!?! How sweet are they?)  They are the people you would want to have over to rent a movie and eat popcorn with in your sweatpants.  Those kind of friends.  You just want to hang out with them and talk about everything and nothing all at once.

Nate & Jen, thank you so much for allowing me into your lives in such an exciting season…I have had so much fun getting to know you at your engagement session all the way up to your wedding…we will have to meet up for gelato again real soon!

A photo of Jen as a baby with her mom… a sweet touch from her stepdad that day…everyone was touched as they remembered her in that moment…
